From Classic Baccarat to Speed Baccarat and Lightning Baccarat with multipliers up to 8x — stargame96 brings the most authentic live baccarat experience to Malaysian players. Professional dealers, tables with RTP up to 98.94%, and real-time results with zero delay.
Six baccarat variants, each designed for different playing styles and needs — from beginners to seasoned VIP players.
If you've ever sat at a casino table — whether at a resort or on an online platform — chances are baccarat was the first game you tried. In Malaysia, baccarat is more than just a game; it's part of the local casino culture. Many loyal baccarat players have been at it for years, and they know exactly what they want: a fair table, professional dealers, an enjoyable pace, and hassle-free deposit options. At stargame96, all of that comes in one reliable, well-organised package.
Baccarat's appeal lies in its fundamental simplicity. Unlike poker, which requires memorising lengthy hand rankings, or blackjack, where you make strategic decisions every round — baccarat asks just one thing of you: do you want to bet on the Player, the Banker, or a Tie? That's it. After that, the dealer handles everything according to a fixed set of rules, with no further input required from you. This is exactly what makes baccarat so popular among Malaysian players of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned casino veterans.
Stargame96 offers six baccarat variants, each with its own distinct appeal. Speed Baccarat is the top choice among our most active players — rounds complete in just 27 seconds, allowing more hands per session and delivering more opportunities and excitement every minute. For players who prefer a more dramatic atmosphere, Baccarat Squeeze delivers the ultimate thrill as the dealer slowly turns and squeezes the cards in front of the camera — every sliver revealed builds a tension that's hard to put into words.
The goal in baccarat is straightforward: predict which hand — Player or Banker — will have a total closer to 9. If you think both hands will end with the same value, you can bet on a Tie. Card values are calculated in a unique way: cards 2 through 9 carry their face value, while 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 0, and Aces are worth 1. If the combined value of the cards exceeds 9, the first digit is dropped — so a hand with a 7 and an 8 (totalling 15) counts as 5, not 15.
The third card rules are a little more involved, but they're handled entirely by the dealer according to a fixed drawing table — you don't need to make any decisions about them. If either the Player or Banker hand totals 8 or 9 from the first two cards, it's called a "natural" and no third card is drawn. If the Player totals 5 or less, they receive a third card. The Banker's third card rules depend on the Banker's hand value and the Player's third card, but at stargame96 the dealer manages all of this automatically — your only job is to decide where to place your chips.
In terms of odds, the Banker bet carries the lowest house edge in baccarat — just 1.06%, compared to 1.24% for Player and 14.36% for Tie. This means that by consistently betting on Banker, you're playing at an RTP of 98.94% — one of the highest of any live casino game at stargame96. Only French Roulette with the La Partage rule comes close to matching this value. That's why many experienced baccarat players consistently focus on the Banker bet, even with the 5% commission applied to Banker wins.
Lightning Baccarat brings the same random multiplier concept as Lightning Roulette to the baccarat table. Each round, one to five "lightning multipliers" are randomly selected, with values ranging from 2x to 8x. If the winning hand receives a multiplier and you've bet on that hand, your payout is multiplied by that value. This means unexpected big wins can happen at any moment, making every round far more thrilling than standard baccarat.
Do note that in Lightning Baccarat, standard payouts are slightly lower than in regular baccarat — this is because a portion of the payout funds the cost of the special multipliers. That said, the big-win potential on offer makes it a worthwhile trade-off for players who enjoy an element of surprise in their game. Stargame96 offers Lightning Baccarat 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with professional dealers rotating every few hours.

With an RTP of 98.94%, the Banker bet is the most mathematically sound wager in baccarat. Despite a 5% commission on winnings, its house edge of just 1.06% makes it significantly better value than the Player or Tie bets over the long run. Many experienced baccarat players at stargame96 consistently use the Banker bet as their primary wager.
While an 8:1 payout may look attractive, the Tie bet carries a house edge of 14.36%, making it a losing proposition in the long run. If you want to try the Tie bet, keep the amount small as a side wager — don't make it your main strategy.
Roads (Big Road, Bead Plate, etc.) display patterns from past results — they do not predict future outcomes. Every hand is mathematically independent. Use the roads to get a feel for the flow of the game, but don't rely on them entirely when making your betting decisions.
Set a firm limit on how much you're willing to spend in a single session and stick to it. Baccarat moves quickly — especially Speed Baccarat at stargame96 — and it's easy to get carried away without a pre-set spending cap.
